wow. so, i just realized how behind i was on outfit posts! my apologies for the obnoxious length. but hopefully there is some inspiration to be found!
i wore this downtown one evening and got lots of nice compliments on it. vintage homemade 2-layer maxi-dress, worn with white flat sandals, and vintage shades.
this outfit i wore to the Ratatat concert on my campus. faded hi-waist denim shorts, grey tank, black cardigan, minnetonka mocs, vintage heart locket, and home-made hair-chain-meets-headband.
this photo doesn't do this outfit justice, but oh well. pink-and-cream patterned top (Gap), wide-leg Old Navy jeans, Tommy Hilfiger brown-and-gold platform heels.
a regular day of classes. dark skinny jeans, vintage Tommy Hilfiger boatneck navy-and-white striped longsleeve, black cardigan, brown gladiators, vintage woven belt with leather accent.
outfit detail
the minnetonka mocs have been in heavy rotation!! probably the most comfortable, versatile flats i own.
...
and as for "The Hours", let's just say all the acting was impeccable (especially Julianne Moore), the approach to the struggle of being woman was unexpected and provocative, and I would definitely recommend it. i will most likely be watching it a few more times to absorb more of the details.
